The Sladek family moved to Media, PA in the summer of 2015 after moving from Brooklyn, NY, to Northern Florida and then to Houston TX during the prior six years due to Henry's career.  We have two sons, Jagger and Pierce who attend school in the Rose Tree School District, a new baby girl born July 2017 named Adella, and a Maltipoo named Roxie.  We have fallen in love with Media and the entire DELCO area and have decided to plant deep roots in the community through service industry incorporating our love of pets.

About Carolyn

Carolyn built a successful cleaning service in New York City, managing dozens of employees, before marrying and starting a family with Henry and moving around the country.  In Manhattan she had a beloved Maltese, named Spiffy, which she preferred to groom herself because Spiffy absolutely hated being left at the groomer.  He would "put on the brakes" if they happened to be walking by any of the groomer storefronts he been to, as if terrified.

She always dreamed of starting a grooming business and completed the Dog Grooming School of Philadelphia certification program (since changed to Dog Grooming School of Pennsylvania) in Spring 2016.  The program incorporated working at Le Beau Chien Dog Grooming salon in Philly, grooming dogs from both walk-in and appointment-booked clients.  The salon offered cage-free grooming, where dogs were free to roam the shop during breaks in grooming and while waiting to be picked up, with only one or two dogs at a time present.  Carolyn loved the concept of cage-free and as little stress as possible for the dogs.  She was the sole apprentice groomer working there besides the owner, and so gained experience working on dogs of many breeds and sizes. She is now loving her new career, offering cage-free, one dog at a time grooming services in her state-of-the-art grooming salon in her home.
